So I am ol'fashioned and I dont have an Ipod.😳
Does any one know of any other way I can listen to the lectures in my car ?
I asked some one about burning it to cd's and he said would take abt 10-20 cd's ..any one know of a better way?I have them in the mp3 format but my car does not play mp3's
please plese help me
THANKS

The only other way is to get this thing on ebay that plugs into any headphone jack (and into your cars cigarette lighter) and transmits the sound into your car radio (an unused FM station) so you can use your mp3 player or mp3/cd player to play the thing in your car. But it is just more cost effective to burn like 36 cd's instead.

just get 2-3 cd-rw's, convert the mp3 files to wav files, and then you can listen to 2-3 of the lectures at a time. then go home, delete the cd's and reburn another 2-3 lectures. that's what I've been doing and its been fine. I can fit one lecture on one cd.

i found an easier way..(my kid brother helped me out)
burn them to mp3 format and then play in a regular mp3disc player. use a connection wire from that to your car tape deck (cheap) and it plays beautifully through the car speakers

👍 That's genius. You can get a portable CD player that reads mp3's for really cheap. If your car doesn't have a tape deck, consider an FM transmitter, although do your homework before buying one of those. Some of them are terrible depending on the type of car you have.

Yeah, there really isn't a clean way to do this. I don't have a tape player and it took me 37 cd's. Worth it though. I have at least a 40 min. drive one way twice a day. Time is no longer wasted fretting and stressing over traffic etc. S-

The FM transmitters suck. I recommend setting your car up to play your ipod anyway - that's what I did, and CDs are now completely obsolete to me. Thousands of songs (or Goljan lectures) at my disposal at the press of a button. There's lots of kits to do this (assuming your car doesn't have a front-panel aux input), but one for example is: http://www.mp3yourcar.com

I have it set up so my ipod is powered and recharged by the car, turns on and off with the car, and is controlled by my steering wheel controls (or stereo). I used this to listen to Goljan whenever I drove before boards.

agreed..most suck...but after trying a few and reading tons of reviews I have found that the Kensington digital FM transmitter actually works really well
