Any good resources out there for those PGY-2s with fairly long commutes?

I saw previous threads about both Buzzwords and the possibility of recording the Basic Science books. Any thoughts on those?

Thanks!

Recording the BSCS series would probably violate a bunch of copyright laws.

Osler has audio mp3's out for purchase. But I'm not sure I would waste money purchasing them. Getting them from a friend, on the other hand, sounds much more appealing...

I think if I were to record the BCS books on audio then listen to them in my car I would violate many laws including a violent road rage rampage and some serious destruction of property.😡

A lot of review courses have some audio to go with them that would likely be much more high yield and easier to digest. Try to get your hands on one of these if you can. I have one from the San Antonio course a few years back, put it in my iPod and got some real mileage out of it.

Not my idea, just saw a previous thread 🙂

That's not a bad idea. I will ask around. First couple of days on the commute, however, 😴

I used the Osler Audio Course on CDs. Some of the lectures were helpful and made the commuting more productive. It is pretty expensive at $475 for the CDs.

I found the CDs useful for studying for the written boards. If you are interested, I would be happy to unload them at a discount!

They are pretty pricey, but they also count for CME. Bimonthly CD, variety of topics and up to date treatment, cataract tips, etc...
