I just finished my undergrad and I need to boost my sGPA by retaking some of my prereqs (chem, ochem) so I can apply to DOs. Can anyone recommend any community colleges in Orange County? The ones that I know of are IVC, Saddleback, and OCC.

Fullerton JC, Cypress maybe?

They're all the same really. I've only been to Fullerton JC and it's an ok school. You go in for the grade and that's all you get.

Don't forget about GWC. The hardest part is being able to successfully register for your classes. It's pretty difficult to find open seats nowadays, since more and more people are taking the CC-after-HS-and-transfer route. But since there's a bunch in the OC, just search around until you find a CC with open spots.

I have high recommendations for IVC. It's one of the better CC's in my opinion and the science instructors are pretty good. If he's still teaching it, take Dr. Ambrose for Gen Chem. He's a fantastic professor.

I've been told and have read that OCC is the best transfer school.
