Kind of a broad question, but can anyone give some insight into good community ortho programs? I'm a decent candidate (241 on Step 1, top 15 med school), and my goal is to practice general orthopedics somewhere in the community. I don't want to pretend like I'm interested in research/academics when I'm not, but I want to be a good surgeon. No need for big name institutions, but it'd be nice to be in a solid training program in a reasonably nice place to live. Thanks!

Any on the east coast?

I hear Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte is good but this from my ortho buddies as I'm not in ortho.
