Hiii, I have a question. So I did my PCAT in June. I got my results back. I was just wondering whether these results are good enough to apply to pharmacy school. This was my second time in trying. I did improve from last time. I just want some feedback because I wanna apply to pharmacy school in second year of my university. I will probably apply to UTSG's pharmacy school.

Why do so many people have great chem and quantitative scores, those are my worst 2 sections!

You know what, Chem and Quant. you can definitely improve your scores by doing a lot of practice problems. But for Verbal and Reading Comp., there is pretty much like no way to do to improve your score.....😡

omgggg I sooo agree with you. I hate the verbal the most I don't even know what I should do to prep for it anymore. 🙁 Plus English is my second language so I am really worried about that.

I did fine with the sentences but I sucked at analogies hardcore. I tired to do the GRE ones but they are too hard I could barely get 5 out of 10 right 😡 plzzzz help if anybody know any tricks I will highly appreciate it 🙂

I strongly disagree.

For verbal, you can start to read for pleasure. Find thoughtful authors whom you enjoy reading and spend an hour or two a day reading them. This will expand your vocabulary, improve your concentration, and bring all sorts of interesting things into your mind. In short, the verbal section of the PCAT is probably the worst reason to start reading for pleasure, but if that's what gets you in the habit...!

RC, on the other hand, is totally a science. The Pearson test-makers have a very specific way of looking at the passages, and you can learn to see the passage their way. The first time I took a practice exam, I got only 25% of the questions in the RC section "correct." But that's because I was reading the passage the way I wanted to. By practicing and reading the Pearson and Kaplan explanations of the right answers, you can improve your score by leaps and bounds. I ended up with a 94th percentile in RC.
