hey all,

I bought the crack that pat but I was hoping for something that actually teaches you how to do each section. Some of them are obvious like angle ranking, hole punching and blocks.

But I have having trouble on the other ones. Not actually doing them, but knowing what the heck I am supposed to do? I read the instructions but I still have tons of questions.

also they do give you dry erase board and marker on the PAT right?

I'm not quite sure I understand what you are confused about here, but I would suggest drilling over problems from the pat sections you are confused about until they make sense in your head. Also, search around this forum cause i'm sure some people have posted some excellent strategies for each PAT section. Practice is key, and I learned how to do the PAT sections just by constantly drilling crack the pat problems and their answers until I knew what to do. If your still confused I may be able to help you with some specific problems if you post them here.

In the Prometric test center they give you 2 dry erase boards (which are flimsy laminated sheets of paper) and 2 black dry erase markers.

hope this helps 😛

Thanks all!

I finally got the whole shape fitting thing. I guess what I mean is I just couldn't picture it in my head? I will have to resort to making actual paper 3d models on some questions in order to "see" it lol

oh and does anyone know which pat program that has 3d model that can be rotated? I did a free trial of it over the summer but forgot which one it is.
