I know u can apply without having all pre-reqs done, but I still have Biochem (fall), genetics (fall) and microbio (spring) to take 👎. Im already studying for the DAT, taking it end of July beg. of August. My LORs are set, Im getting done w/ my personal statement and just waiting for the cycle to open 😀.
So still if Im missing those 3 key pre-reqs is it a good idea to apply still????

you can't be serious.... this thread was created solely to brag about how prepared you are for the cycle.

You KNOW that you should apply right now. If everyone waited until after all prereqs were completed to apply, then many students would have a year of downtime instead of heading to dental school right after undergrad.

Do us all a favor and refrain from starting threads that will only discourage others.

May I quote "I know u can apply without having all pre-reqs done", I ask because I have a concern on my chances lacking those 3 key courses.
Now how Am I discouraging others??? We are all in the same boat as far as applying for all I know, and by ur signature I dont c why would u be discourage if u are already in.
Thank you for the reply but no need to say stuff like that.

I applied with only 2 semesters physics, 2 gen chem, 2 gen bio, and 2 orgo (the absolute minimum). Since applying last summer, I've taken micro, biochem, antomy, analytical chem, and orgo lab. Not having those done didn't hurt me at all.

Thank you so much for the input Greatly appreciate it.

You're more than fine to apply now. Try not to overanalyze your situation. I think the above poster that ripped into you might have forgotten the second guessing we all do while applying. This application process ends up being a bit more liberal than we originally believe. At this point you should concentrate 100% of your energy on the DAT.

Kool man thanks, I appreciate the reply. Yeah I think we all get caught up or at least me trying to do everything perfectly.
