Hey all,
Really corny, but the way to remember the stoichiometry of the Na/K ATPase is Na Na Na, K K, goodbye. (three sodium and 2 potassium)
Wow, thank you. I always used to make mistakes when it came to Na an K. Now I can never forget it.

We need a smiley of a zombie arising from the grave.
When you get past the didactic portion of d-school and onto the clinical portion, when treatment planning a case, more often than not its all about the KISS principle
K = Keep
I = It
S = Simple
S = Stupid!
And the longer i'm in practice the more and more I'm reminded of how often this works! 😉

For the number of vertebrae, think about all the times of the day in which people eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
7am= cervical
12pm=thoracic
5pm= Lumbar
also for the vertebral levels of the diaphragm perforations:
"I ate 10 eggs at 12"
Translation: Inferior vena cava (I) at the level of the T8 ('ate')
esophagus (eggs) at T10
Aorta (at) T12
