Hello Wsavalas,

The only online courses that I know about are the ones that junior colleges offer. They always have online courses. These are like any other courses given at any 4-year college or university. They will count towards your degree and your GPA. Look for a junior college in your area and ask.

I hope that this answered your question.

I have taken a few general education (required courses) online. I would highly recommend that you avoid taking any of the BCP pre-reqs online, because they will not be considered by dental schools (because of the lab). If they are taken through a CC then they will be lower division.

Also, to be successful in online courses one must be very self motivated! I am sure you are, but I just had to say that.

PM me if you have any questions....

Colorado State University, has a great online Histology course.

unless of course only the lab and lectures are broken up into seperate courses, ie lab 1 credit class, lecture 3 credit class. Then feel free to take the lecture online.

Good Point....that has never been an option for me.

Really? I am gonna go check that one out. Have you taken it or just heard about it?

Schools around here offer physics, chemistry and biology online and you go in once a week for the laboratory and for any tests.
