Good Physical Chemistry books

Well, when I took it we used the Pchem "Bible", Atkins and De Paula. I HATED that book though, thought it was awful. Atkins has written some good books on Science and Theology, but as a pchemist, he's near impossible to understand.

But, that's pretty much considered one of the best books on the subject if you REALLY want to get into it.

Can't say I'm not overjoyed that's behind me though😉

good luck!

Ira Levine makes a SUPERB PCem book that easy to understand. You can even order the workbook and detalied answer guide for the book as well!

I second that, levine's book is the best. dont waste your time with the others

Atikins is...not so good...avoid him and you'll do just fine

Tinacio Ignoco - Physical Chemistry for Biological Sciences (or something of that nature)

It's good if you're not into math too much. It explains stuff well. But I would recommend it as a suplement to one of the other books, not as a standalone text.
