Good Review resources for Histology ?

This is for Step 1. Anybody know any? I find myself getting slaughtered on NBMEs by anything with histology including EM and gross.

Almost every question in UWorld has some histology component to it... either the description of a cell/tissue or a picture. I wish i had learned that stuff right the first time around. I absolutely hated histo and now it's coming back to bite me in the [insert]... I heard Lange histo book is a great resource!

I feel exactly the same!! I was also told histo wasn't even important for boards! Boy they lie

Tough to memorize all that stuff with zero context. Definitely doesn't stick. Does Lange have images for Histo? If I can get a few good EM/H&E stains of the major organs that's enough for me. I had an NBME question that really just tested if you've seen this stuff on EM/H&E before.

just "bought" lange flash cards. we'll see how this goes.
