Just a reminder that someone may google candidates or look at their profiles on myspace etc. While college counselors routinely counsel new graduates to clean up their profile. The same should be advised for those on the interview trail. Think closely about having pictures of being passsed out drunk, mooning or flashing a camera, hyping your latest pyramid scheme, or any number of potentially controversial topics. While, you may feel strongly that this is "your" space and your life. The big picture is that you want a spot, not a supreme court case about privacy/discrimination.

actually a program would be in their rights to google you and consider any information they found out about you. if the info was wrong that's one thing. but public info you put out there is public info and to the mind of a pd, anything that gives a sence of your true character is fair game. a lesson for the rest of your life as a doctor now. and remember info can be chashed.
