Just noticed dental programs are never mentioned in articles. You’ll see Columbia and Tufts medical schools, but their tuition is still below some dental schools such as NYU and USC. I guess they purposefully exclude dentistry since it’ll dominate their list.

Shoot, if we’re going to pay loads of money to get into this profession, we should at least be recognized for it.

I never said it’ll be beneficial, but it doesn’t hurt to educate the public about our ridiculous loans. Patients will think twice before they start complaining about our prices and why we don’t take Medicaid.

I would love people to know we are drowning in debt.

I wouldn't. We would no longer be seen as greedy dentists who want to pay for a lake house, but as dentists who are drowning in debt and need to pay off their crippling student loans.

The public must never know the truth.
