Sad to say but I know two people who got into dental school last year one got into Boston and one got into Western in CA and they both had 17 on their DAT. You NEVER know! I sometimes feel like its a lottery. Because my best friend had AA 23 and TS 24, and he got rejected from 17 schools two years in a row till finally he got into UCSF last year. Like I said YOU NEVER KNOW till you apply. Good luck to everyone 🙂

Did your friend with 23aa have a low gpa? And the one In western had good gpa?

Pretty sure their website says they encourage a B or higher to be competitive, but its not a requirement. If all your grades are a B or higher except for that they probably won't hold it against you too much.

Everything is above 17 except QR but it's the least important section I guess. Since you will be applying for the third time, they will be looking more closely into your story, experience, dedication....etc.. Just apply to schools with lower stats!
Not everyone is a good test taker, I think National Board is Pass/Fail so you only need 75% to pass 🙂

After reading SEVERAL threads here on SDN i think that QR score is REALLy gonna close TONS of doors for you!! All thread that i read about people getting AA 17, they were not accepted to DS because they switched to status: podiatry. maybe is another option? I have AA 21 but my QR is also very low and i considering re- taking it a fourth time😳
