I would like to know if any schools calculate with quality points. This is very important to me and would like to hear from someone that knows any FACTS on this. I've read pleanty of threads dealing with this but nothing that was factual, just word of mouth stuff (I guess this is welcome on this thread also). If you are an interviewer or just someone that heard it from an adcom......I would love to hear what you know. Even if you only know the policy of one school.....that's cool too just post it on here. Thanks yall

I know for a FACT that UF uses your GPA WITHOUT quality points.... I am 99% that most schools do the same.... Why?

I was told that it is a way to "level the playing field" Many schools don't offer +/- or some schools (like UF) only offer the +. So it is difficult to compare students from different schools using quality points.

Thanks for the reply SuperC. Was it a UF adcom that told you no schools use quality points? I have heard from a few people that other schools will use quality points. One guy on here said that he talked to a few Dshool reps who informed him that they like to consider your universities GPA.

Ok, so far we know that UF doesn't use the quality points. Keep it coming guys.
