So here's the breakdown:

PAT 17
QR 15
RC 18
Bio 21
GC 16
OC 21
TS 19
AA 18

I'm a bit poor in math. So for the GC and QR sections I took up a lot more time than intended to work out the problems. Ended up guessing some QR qs in the end bc of time restraint.

I will be re-taking the DAT ..but could you guys give me any suggestions on how i could improve for next time? I'm not expecting miracle scores but i definitely want to improve.

Materials i've use:
Chem- chads videos, dat destroyer
Biology- Cliffs ap bio, dat destroyer
Ochem- chads videos, dat destroyer
Math- dat destroyer (un-timed mostly) and math destroyer (untimed mostly and timed)...Although now i see i've made a mistake in not taking these timed.
Reading comp and PAT- none

For one, i didn't really practice math under timed conditions too many times.
I should have done this more often knowing that this was my week spot. Also horrible in mental math.

Studies for 3 months now. Did 2007 dat practice test and ran out of time in the QR. Did all of chad videos in math and his math quizes.

Really? What schools if you dont mind me asking?
My GPA is 3.6 btw.
I just assumed i'd retake it because i heard schools have cut off at either 15 or 16 for individual sections.

Western, Florida, NYU, and something else. I forget. If you call, and ask if they have a cut off, you can narrow your searches.

You have awesome materials. You probably did not study in a right way. You can't just go through the materials. You need to make sure you understand every problem and a solution, as well as memorize all that you need to memorize.

You have good materials, but you don't seem to have much practice other than Destroyer. I recommend qVault, Bootcamp, topscore, etc. You need to familiarize yourself with the types of questions on the DAT. Destroyer is not representative, it is a bit harder, but I think it prepares you for those once-in-a-while hard problems.

Know the first ten exams of math destroyer. Do quvualt math for timing and getting the more "basic" questions down and timing. I had a lot of trouble with math too and pushed back my exam multiple times just because of it. Got a 19. If you want to know more about it, just go through my post history and find my breakdown.

I've hear of all three talked about on the forum. What is each resource good for?

Sure, I'll check it out. So qvault is more representative of the real dat then?

Bootcamp good for every section, to be honest. Topscore is good for everything as well. Qvault, I've only used the free tests, but I felt like Gchem/bio were good practice. The most representative of the actual DAT would probably be Bootcamp. Supplement your studying with constant testing and I'm sure you'll do fine.

There was a post a few weeks ago about how someone did math destroyer but could not do some of the basic problems that were on the actual exam, in a timely matter. Qvualt allows you to get familiar with the basics. Don't get me wrong, theres difficult problems there too but the quvualt material is a little bit easier(even though my avg was about the same if my memory serves me right, check my breakdown). You need both sides of the spectrum, not just one.

Just keep pushing it through man, I know its difficult. Its hard to see other sections progressing along or pretty much done but have one or two sections straggling along.

Thank you for that. I didn't see that post but it makes a lot of sense in my case. I went through the destroyer couple times but yet i was choking on the basics at times on the test even though they were all doable.
