Anyone has any experiences going to interviews with braces on?
I have few interviews coming up and I am still getting used to this contraption lol :yuck:😀
I just hope interviewers won't be biased based on how I look currently 😛

I went to an interview with a full-on, red and painful malar rash! Don't worry about it, seriously. Be confident anyways.

i believe you will be just fine. Practice speaking a lot. Practice talking with a pencil in your mouth for better annunciation.

Most of all be confident. Do not show that you are bothered or embarrassed by your braces. Just act as if they were never there and never a problem.

Good luck

I dont see why anyone would hold it against you for bettering your oral health and self esteem.

I was a straight up brace face when I interviewed- it didn't seem to affect me adversely. How long have you had them on for? Hopefully longer than a week at the very least, this way it doesn't impede your speech.
Try to make a conscious effort to speak clearly and succinctly and it shouldn't be an issue. Good luck.
Had them for a week now, and I've been practicing to talk clearly, in front of the mirror. It hurts like **** now but the worst part is the food getting stuck all over lol. I guess I am gonna be on liquid diet during interview day 😛

Haha yep!!

don't worry! Just speak slowly, be confident, and get your point across.

I fell and broke my jaw(don't ask lol) and was wearing an orthotics to my interviews. I talked like I had a hard boiled egg in my mouth and that doesn't seem to bother anyone.
