Got into CCOM!!!

I just wanted to start a thread for those of you who got the call yesterday from ccom. What a relief to finally get an acceptance. I can't believe we found out so fast, I wasn't expecting anything until next week at the earliest. Anyway, congrats to all my soon to be ms1 peers, I hope to get to know some of you before next year.

I interviewed on 10/4, and I just heard back from them. They seem to take long time so you have to be patient.

congrats big time. you should definitely feel proud. i interviewed 10/22 and have yet to hear. i really hope i get in. maybe we'll be classmates if the gods favor me as well 😛 CCOM is an awesome place.

They often call to let you know. They called me to let me know that they had "good news" and asked me to call them back. Congratulations everyone!!!

Their adcom only meets once a month. I interviewed on 10/4 and had to wait way too long (all good in the end) . They seem to work one month at a itme with interviews, so I wouldn't worry if you haven't gotten one yet.

I interviewed on the 19th of oct, so I guess I was lucky in that I interviewed close to the adcom meeting and didnt have to wait long. They called and left it on my machine.

congrats! 👍 I also recieved the call. Having a hard time deciding between NSU-COM vs. CCOMP vs. PCOM. what do yall think. As far a CCOMP the test heavy nature of the quarter system are some initial negatives, but without a doubt it is a good school.

This is making me worried, I interviewed 10/21 and have not recieved a call yet. I hope that doesn't mean that I didn't earn admission 🙁 .

I don't know about PCOM or COMP, but the reason I am going with CCOM over NSU is that you can stay in chicago for all four years of school and don't have to rotate around the state or country for your third and fourth years. This is important to me because my wife will be finishing school. Also, no dress code and attendance policy at CCOM as opposed to NSU.

first of all congrats. but eeeks, now im a little anxious, i also interviewed that day and have not heard anything. fingers are double crossed!

Congrats to all accepted. I too received a phone call last Friday and couldn't beleive it. Now I have narrowed down my school choices to CCOM or KCOM and this is shaping up to be the hardest decision of my life. Any advice from current students or others in the same boat? 🙂

I just called Midwestern up and recieved some troubling news 🙁. Seems I was put on the alternate list 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 .

I'm happy for you guys that got in, hopefully I'll be able to gain admission this year as well!

Ish, just some words of encouragemnet. I got put on nsu's alternate list back in september. It was my first choice back then. After interviewing at ccom, I saw that it was probably a better fit for me. I am so glad I got put on nsu's alternate list, because I probably would have declined the chicago interview if I had gotten in. My point is; don't get discouraged, things will work out for the best. Its still pretty early

ok, this is really sad news for me since CCOM was my first choice. i just talked to the admissions office, and they told me that if you did not receive a call 10/29 then you were either put on the alternate list or rejected. im sorry to have to break the news.

i was put on the alternate list. they wont go back to it until spring time. which means we will be already hugely invested in at another school due to deposits and what not.

good luck in this roller coaster process.

Actually I took MCAT in August and my file is complete (online status check) for about two weeks now. How long does it take to get interview invite at CCOM after your file is complete ?

My file was complete back in July. Didnt get interview invite until oct 2.
