Me too...LLU said I am not competitive enough...which I know...I am retaking the DAT anyway...it would be nice if they could wait, but ohwell! Many many more to hear from...👍

Letter. It was sitting on my table for awhile. I was waiting for some other schools' letters too so I could open a bunch and at least hope for 1 to be an interview but I broke down and opened it lol. Kind of wish I hadnt but I was expecting a rejection after reading some other people's posts

It's not a good idea to let a letter sit there if it could be an invite. Those interview spots go pretty quick.

hahahh...I did the same thing. I've received a lot of letter from schools these days..and today, I got my first rejection form LLU. Most of the schools ask me to send them the money before they activate my application..ah ha...I will send my money to some schools only since my DAT scores are not high. UOP asks me to send them 75 bucks, but I know they will reject me right away after they cash my check..

Can you give us a run down on your Academic stats/DAT and shadowing experience.

I got rejected from case one month ago and these are my status.
CUM GPA 3.39
SCI GPA 3.29
AA 19
TS 20
Pat 18
a lot of volunteer work and shadowing 4 dentists since 2 years a go. But didn't do well in freshman year. Last year had 8A's out of 9 classes that I took and 1 B.
compare your grades and good luck.

I got rejected twice by IND.
It seems like once they see my name and send out the rejection email.
It sucks.
But I got other interviews by some top 10 dental schools.
Let me feel much batter.

He's probably just talking about those name brand schools.
