Hi,

Just wanted to let u know that u have good scores 👍 . I have 88 and if I can get in to a school, I am sure u can too. It's just matter of time 🙂.

Now all u have to do is trust in yourself, build up your confidence, improve your resume(like work experience in US etc) and also concentrate in improving your practical skills.

I would suggest you to apply to all the schools and broaden your chances. I applied like to 12 schools last year!(including space based). I attended 4 interviews and got in to 3 schools.

Don't have your hopes on BU as this is the only school which relies on just part 1 scores (last year they mostly accepted people with 93 and above!)

Keep in mind that personal interview plays a vital role in the selection process.

All the best :luck:

hi,
can you tell which schools did you get into and when had you applied for them
thanks

I applied to all the schools which offer IDP...I got accepted by UB, NYU& UCLA. DO a search on my previous posts as I was posting my experiences regularly for the past 1 yr..

Sorry I couldn't tell u in detail as I already started school and it's keeping me busy that I rarely log in to the forum nowadays...

Goodluck to u :luck:

Hi Denzel,

Regarding your Pm, either u can attend courses like duggan to improve your practical skills or if you r confident enough u can practice by your self. But keep in mind that practicing for the clinical exam is very important..

I took a Oral radiology course(50 hrs) before taking DANB which is mandatory for licensure in my state.

All the best :luck:

Hi dental doc,
I was wondering if you could share some info about your school? What are their priorities during the selection process? Also could you also share some info about the school per se? Do they have a Problem based learning system like USC? What prompted you to choose UCLA over the other schools that admiited you?

Thanks in advance,
Treasure
