yeah i just got aecom's email today as well but cant access their secondary. i hope they fix it soon.

It looks like the MD secondary is accessible via the MSTP (MD/PhD) link and that the MSTP supplement is not up. So, the MD application is here:

Today I received USC, OSU, and GW...and a few days ago, I got UConnecticut, Yale, MCW, Georgetown...

I also filled out UMiami's interest form so I'm just waiting for the secondary. Anyone know how long that takes?

I'm with coco on this one. Today I got AECOM, and USC and I'm sitting on UVa, UConn, Georgetown, GW. I've submitted MCW and RWJMS because there isn't much to em. Let the essays begin... 😱

AECOM is now working from the MD application link on the page they link you to in their email. And I was glad to see that it's a pdf that lets you fill out the form.

I'm supposing not. But I guess they figure people with less then stellar stats wouldn't actually apply there anyhow. Of which category you don't fall in. So you should be ok.

But if it is a concern, I'd probably email those schools and see if you are supposed to just go ahead and get the secondary and turn it in.

are you guys being as anal with secondary essays as you were for the amcas ps? i remember getting my statement proofread by everyone and their moms (and my mom) and going over it like 1000 times. now i'm just tired of feedback and don't have time to do that all over again.

All I've got so far is an email from Rush saying they recieved my app and will send me an email with the URL for hte secondary.

And I got RWJMS, but it's not really a secondary, is it? More of a write your name and send us your money.

Would all the schools email you when they recieve it, or do some of the schools just have the secondary's online and expect you to find them?

I didn't. If you're using the UCLA LOR service, it will cost like 5 bucks to have them include that form (handling fee). If I recall correctly, the USC secondary says that the form "improves" the processing of the letters. I interpreted that to mean that it was optional.

I believe UCSD wont even send you an email if they will give u a secondary invite. It said in my email that i need to check the status page on UCSD.edu for progress of my application. I take it as they wont email me more info and i need to just keep refreshing that status page 20x a day.

Some other schools have forms that they expect the LOR people to fill out, like long complicated forms. MUSC, for example, has all this stuff about evaluating the candidate for admission. My pre-med committee is going to send them the same packet they send everybody, so they'll just have to live with it. Has anybody had a problem with this in the past (i.e. not including the school-specific recommendation forms)?

They want your money, it's so apparent because of no essays. You can't really contribute anything in this secondary except for letters of rec, which is required by all schools anyways

Yeah, it was cool that Penn is so easy. Now they just need my committee letter (which is going to be done this week! yay!) and I'll be complete there 🙂. So cool. So that means so far I've gotten links via email from AECOM and Penn, and I've also done online the MUSC stuff.

Ok, so I just checked the UCSF website and it says that they haven't even "received" my AMCAS information. Um. WTF, mate, I was verified and processed on the 18th or so; as soon as MCAT scores were in.

Anyone else having this problem or do I actually have legitimate reason to freak out?!

I didn't get an invite from them. I just decided to check their page, and it let me go ahead and do it. I just added it to the secondary prompts thread at the top of the main forum page if you're interesed in what's up with them.

Just wondering, do you need an email from USC before you can fill out their secondary? It seems everyone already got an email from them, but I haven't yet, even though I've been verified for quite some time. Just wondering, thanks!!

Well dont u need to be in their system to access the secondary? I'm not absolutely sure if i had to login inorder to get the secondary.

I am printing out all the secondaries i am getting, even those not asking for essays so this way i can keep track of what i need to fill out.
