For anyone who has been invited to fill out Tufts secondary, do you know who the check should be made out to exactly? I didnt see it anywhere.

the instructions pdf (on page 3 of 6) says that you should make the check out to the 'Trustees of Tufts University'.

Are you sure they don't mean required if you have research experience. How can you write an essay about something you don't have experience in?

i'm sorry if this has been addressed before already but has anyone been able to postpone their Northwestern LOR due date? I literally need like a month postponing before my LORs are ready.

I'm probably screwed huh. Them darn premed committees.

Does anyone know if we can save our info online on the Dartmouth secondary? I guess I could just type directly into the word version of the app, but I'd rather enter it online then print a word copy so I don't have to worry about how to format the courses, etc.

I just filled out as much as I could of the Dartmouth application, and then at the end chose print as Word RTF file. Then I just saved the RTF file and editted that.

Are you talking about the game Final Fantasy, that used to be on the Nintendo?? Or are you talking about the movie???

My brother used to play Final Fantasy II on the super nintendo and I used to sit there and watch him play, though I never played it myself. I used to be obssessed with wanting him to name the female character with the green hair after me. It was pretty funny actually.

One of my personal favorite games was the Zelda game: Link on super nintendo. Other then that, I was never into video games, but my brothers are still into them to this day. They are also a big fan of the Star War Series like you.

I like Star Wars movies, but the original trilogy. I don't like the new trilogy as much as the original ones. But that's my opinion.

Me too... Did you notice that when paying my credit card they mistakenly ask about the August 2004 MCAT? Oops! Someone just slapped last year's link into the email without checking to see if the page had been updated!

I think the whole pay us to even look at your file deal is pretty lame. Mut I must say that if they can tell right away that they aren't interested, I'm glad they don't make me waste my time on a secondary in order to do the quick rejection (after cashing my check) that other schools do...

Just got UCI notification, and like 5 minutes later, the secondary invite. The secondary has a 1 month time limit to it, but that's not too bad. They want a second photo too, which is a bit strange... maybe I should just send in the same photo twice, since it's the only professional one I have

I have only taken the April 2005 MCAT, so whether they want 2005 or 2004, I can answer no. Their email talks about 2005, so I'm assuming that is what the question should say.

If you would have answered differently for 2005 than 2004, I'd say it is worth a phone call to their office. You definitely want to be sure that they have your information entered properly!

I already sent them an email noting the error, but a few phone calls will probably help them to fix the problem sooner than later...

Did anyone do Ohio State's yet? I'm working on the two short answers. However, I don't think I'll use up anything close to the 600 word limit. I'll probably use around half for each. Hopefully ADCOMs don't think too much for a concise essay.

So, while filling out their form, I discovered that apparently NYMC requires a non-science letter even though their instructions don't say that at all:

"If your college does not have a Premedical Committee, Letters of Evaluation from three undergraduate professors (including at least two from science (biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics or bioengineering) faculty are required."

They do screen pre-secondary. Also, it's nearly impossible to get in there without some connection to the state... from what I've heard. I don't know how hard it is to simply get past the screening.
