Does anyone know the policy on sending updated transcripts? I know stanford does not want them sent; are there any other schools that have objections to recieving them?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Do schools typically specify which letters they want in the packet? They seem to only specify types of letters only if we submit separate ones in place of the committee packet, but I don't know...I hope I'm not missing something! 🙁

SpeedRacer said:i think schools are so thankful to get a committee letter instead of separate letters (they only have to read one thing instead of 3-5) that they are more lenient as to what's in it. that's at least what my prof told me. that's why most schools prefer a committee letter, they just don't have enough time to read more stuff.

diosa428 said:Yeah, I think they sent them to everyone who got above a certain number on their MCAT.
Also, I was verified around July 15th and UCSF hasn't sent word that they've received my app, and the online system doesn't recognize me (out of stater). There was a thread sometime last week where ppl verified even earlier said they also have not been contacted by UCSF. I'm guessing they're just taking their sweet time, and there's no need to worry.

rtmcad - I assume that you mean a secondary application...diosa428 said:Yeah, I think they sent them to everyone who got above a certain number on their MCAT.rtmcad2319 said:Did anyone else get a letter from UPitt asking for you to send them a primary??CuddlyKumquat said:what is the cut off....
Judging from the post above yours, the mcat cutoff must be 44T 😀CuddlyKumquat said:what is the cut off....

slightly amusing -- "we aren't ready yet, but don't worry!!!" They must have been getting phone calls.
Yeah, he says it's probably because of disciplinary action from way back when...tennisnr said:Did anyone else see Wowzer's post on rejections? Apparently 8/8 he got something from Upitt that was a rejection and his/her stats are way above their avg
Kodiak said:Hi, new poster here. I've recieved secondaries from St. Louis, Wash U. and University of Iowa.
I'm still waiting on Nebraska, Creighton, Kansas and Mizzou (University of Missouri-Columbia).
Has anyone recieved a secondary from Mizzou yet?

beponychick said:for the drexel secondary... in the space where they have you list activities, they have boxes that say "check here if held only during school / summer break." What does this mean? Do they mean held during school year? or during the summer break? I dont know how to interpret it. Thanks guys.
trishaaa said:I think they mean things during summer break (I guess some people refer to that as school break). At least that's how I interpreted it. And I'm mailing it in now!
Overeducated said:Did anyone else notice that Drexel refuses to accept "personal checks"? WTF? It has to be a money order, certified check or cashier's check. I was 5 seconds away from mailing a personal check... lameness
beponychick said:Oh my god, i had to go run and get my envelope out of the mailbox at my office after reading this. I totally didnt realize that. This is crazy. I remember when I applied the first time, I definitely sent them a personal check. Maybe we should call and find out for sure.
