got the interview... apply for prelim?

So I got my dream interview this morning. YAY!

It's a categorical IM. Should I go back an apply for the Prelim year at the same place so that I can have two shots at ending up at the dream place (since I already got the interview)... or is my logic not holding up?

other info:
I didn't apply to any other prelim spots.
I'd probably rank the prelim spot last.

Your logic is not holding up. They'll see you doing that, figure out you're trying to game the system and then you run the risk of not matching at all. Go, interview, rank, the end.
