Out of curiosity, I was wondering whether anyone has applied to the Goucher Postbac program and heard back from them yet. Just trying to get a sense of timing...Thanks!

I applied in early September, was called to arrange an interview a week later, interviewed two weeks after that, found out I'd been accepted a week after the interview. But I'm still waiting to hear about one other place before I decide. Hope that helps. The whole process took about a month.

it looks like they have a great program. do they offer any financial aid? i've decided to take classes independently at towson instead.

Wow, congrats! I got dinged. Do you mind if I asked what your stats were? The whole being dinged part was a big confidence dasher but alas I should expect obstacles along the way right?

Just wait until you apply to med school...it's a demolition derby out here.

I know...that's what I kept telling myself and that this is only the beginning. Knowing other people made it through keeps me motivated...

I think that by far the biggest thing I have going for me is that despite not having the classes, I've been very lucky to have a lot of clinical and particularly research experiences with great mentors and bosses at very well respected institutions. That, plus a volunteer gig that I love which links in with some of my non-medical interests and some leadership positions in college. Best of luck at the other places you apply!

I also recently got accepted to the Goucher program. The entire process took about 3-4 weeks for me too. It was a really quick turn-around after the interview which was nice because I didn't have to wait in suspense for too long. I have decided that I will attend the program next year. I'm really excited.

I'm curious who else decided to attend so far. Where are you all from? When did you find out? It would be nice to hear a little bit about the rest of the class.
