The Science GPA can be crucial to be admitted into medical School?? or Overall GPA can help me more???

I repeated precalculus 4 times, got 3 withdrawal and 1 F in my last change I obtained an A grade, can this really affect me?

I want to apply to Ponce School of science and health in P.R. And my Gpa is 3.30 and my sciencie Gpa is under 3.00!!!! With a good mcat cai I enter??? Or I'm just waste my time?

Having any of your GPA stats under 3.00 is a red flag. Repeating a class 4x probably doesn't help either, although at least you finally finished with an A.

Your MCAT is going to have to be REALLY good (like... 35+ for MD), and even then I think you're going to be a tough sell for this cycle with a sub 3.00 sGPA. I'd even wager that your sGPA is going to weigh in more than your total GPA.

Are you posting your AACOMAS numbers or your AMCAS numbers? If these are AACOMAS numbers you're really boned for MD.

Of course, I post stuff like this then hope that someone more knowledgeable backs me up.

Well, the good news is that depending on how many retakes you've had, your AACOMAS GPA will be a little higher.

But still, if it doesn't all come up above 3.00 you're in the rough. Nail your MCAT hard.

And doesn't Ponce have their own med school too? You might have an in there.
