Being URM, I think you'll get an acceptance. It may not be to Emory, but I think you will. Apply smart like you said and hope for the best.

There's always DO as a almost-as-good back up Plan.

You should be able to get in an MD program, I also would state that Emory and Mt. Sinai would probably be a reach since they are top 25 schools. But if you apply broadly and smart, you never know.

MD is very realistic as a URM. Since you're a black female, I wouldn't completely discount top programs around the rank of 15 to 30.

URM status will help out a lot. There's a decent chance you'll get into Emory.
