Would medical schools treat an applicant with a 3.58 GPA different from an applicant with a 3.60? Just in terms of GPA.

0.02 difference in GPA will not make or break an applicant.

Sometimes I really don't know if people are really this neurotic...or trolling. It's becoming harder and harder to tell! Either way, as @Hospitalized said, no, being at a 3.6 will not vault you up into a new magical tier as opposed to being in the 3.5's. This process has so many variables you can never say "Just in terms of X"

Yes. They are banned from applying to medicine due to obvious ineptitude. For-ev-er.
