GPA calculation for Medical Schools

Hi everyone,

I want to ask how medical school calculate our GPA.

My questions are:

1. how does a medical school calculate GPA in California?

2. Will they have access to all the grades we take at other universities and community colleges? or do we have go provide our other colleges' transcripts to the medical schools?

1. AMCAS calculates your gpa for all US MD schools (except for TX medical schools).
2. You must provide transcripts to AMCAS for all schools attended after high school.
