Quick question.

My major was biological anthropology... classes are listed as BIOANTHRO ###. I did well in most of the classes so I am hoping that these classes are calculated in either BCP GPA or sGPA. Classes included comparative anatomy, primate anatomy, comparative genetics... Also what about ecology?

Also, as I take AADSAS automatically calculates these numbers... is there any potential to "petition" for a certain class to count towards a certain gpa calculation?

Those would be considered biology classes and count towards your BCP and sGPA. I am taking comparative anatomy right now and it is listed as a bio class. If you are still unsure, I would call AADSAS. They should give you a straight answer.

Yes, those classes will be included in the BCP gpa and sgpa. See this comprehensive list for guidance: http://www.adea.org/dental_educatio...ons/Documents/ADEA_AADSAS_Course_Subjects.pdf

Subjects that are BCP are calculated in the BCP gpa. The sgpa includes all BCP AND subjects listed under "Other Science".

This hold true even if it was through the anthropology dept (received a B.S tho, any other anthro major was considered a B.A), or do they not look at the dept?
