hi, when i am filling out applicaiton, they ask for every course i took even in community colleges. do they calculate the GPA even it's from communicty college? cus i didnt do well . i got two C ...and i dont want it to lower my gpa more.

and, can i not put down the community college ?? why they find out????

yes the cc classes will count in your gpa.

yes you do have to list them, they will find out. chances are your university transcripts will have some record of your cc if you sent the cc transcripts to your university for transfer credit.

but the thing is...i went to take classes in CC in high school before i enter UCSD. that still counts????? is there any differneces between aadsas gpa and regular gpa??

It still counts...schools want to see your entire academic history. Don't worry too much about the C's...they'll probably be more forgiving if you took the courses while you were in high school.

If you don't want to include them then don't. You're just risking never getting admitted into dental school if they find out. No big deal.

YES it still counts. you sent your CC transcripts to UCSD before enrolling, correct?? if so, there is probably some record of your community college career somewhere on your UCSD transcripts.

2 C's are not going to kill your GPA if you're a good student with lots of credits.

Each college you attend has a seperate GPA on AADSAS. You will have one for CC and one for the other. I took ASL at a local CC for my foreign language b/c my university didn't teach it. It was only 15 credits (quarter system) but i still had to get transcripts and stuff sent here and there.
