Hi All,

How GPA is calculated in AADSAS? There multiple factors involved.

Any links or tips is appreciated

um they calculate the gpa like any ordinary college transcript however 2 things are different from ur official transcript:

the values used for pluses and negative grades might be different

and repeated/withdrewn classes are used to calcualting the gpa.

So a C in orgo (4 credits) and repeat w/ an A will be averaged out to a B (8 credits)

hope taht helps :-D

if you want to know for sure you can open an aadsas account and read about it

I'm assuming we use the left side of the table....? I'm kinda confused as to what the difference is.

What consitutes an "AB"?

My school doesn't use this designation..

so basically.... your 3.5 for a B+ becomes a 3.3???? 😡
what the heck is AB, BC, etc....??? 😕

looking at that table...do universities really give out an A+? I mean hell...where I went to school you had to get a 95 in most of your sciences just to get an A..and if it wasnt 95..it was 93 haha...man did I miss out

i think my school gives out A+'s... but i've never gotten one! hahaha it doesn't have any significance when it comes to calculating the gpa though. it's just a 4.0 i think. but what is an AB??? why can't my B+'s = 3.5???? haha wth :scared:

This point value is jacked. At my school we don't have A+ and like the other guy said, our As are like 94s with no curves. In our chem department we'll have 250 in a class and get like 10-15 As total.

Sheesh, why don't schools just write down the damn grades as they are?

"This student's average is an 84, so that's a...3.4!"

does the left hand side of the +/- column apply if you have B+ grades and no minus grades? That is not cool. My GPA is gonna be smoked if I fall under the right column
