No, it's a complicated method. You send your scores + transcripts in and it gets calculated for you.

It's not very complicated to calculate your GPA.
You just need grade 3 math to be able to do it. I'm sure most of us have passed grade 3 math.

haha yes I stopped being lazy and I JUST calculated it on excel
Is there a GPA calculator I can use to calculate my dental application GPA?
Thank you!
Edit: Ignore this thread- I just used excel to calculate it 🙂
This GPA calculator always worked for me:
http://www.foothill.edu/counseling/gpacalc.php
I just did it on excel since A+'s are 4.33 and not 4.0
thank you for the link though!
Nvm, I thought U were referring to calculating your standardized dental app GPA

My school doesn't give out GPA but percentages and letter grades so I'm not too familiar with calculating GPA. So even if you get a 84 or 80, since they are both A-, they count the same? Same with 89 and a 86 since they are both A?
so say your overall percentage after 3 years of undergrad is 80%. This doesn't necessarily mean that your GPA is 3.7?
This seems a bit unfair and weird...
