I was just thinking about mashed potatoes and like, potato salad. I dunno. Of course I eat other potatoes! I went to Waffle House last week! Who goes to the WH and doesn't get hash browns?
You can make both those things out of baked potatoes too......Try it - I think baked potatoes make excellent potato salad.

But, I also work with a lot of vet students. And it’s the motivation that I care about. A kid that doesn’t care what grades they get and doesn’t put in the effort even though I know they have the brain depresses me 10x more than someone who can’t recite the pathway at me.

I would discourage you from thinking that "not caring about grades" is equated to not caring about patients and not putting in effort.

Those are two different things. I cared a lot about grades when I started vet school. Then I realized that my concern for grades was getting in the way of me actually focusing on learning the material. I was in "do good on tests"mode and it was preventing me from actually focusing on learning the material deeply and well. Once I decided not to worry so much about grades it really freed me up stress-wise and emotion-wise to just plain focus on learning for learning's sake.

Try to be a little less judgmental about grades, I suppose, is what I'm saying. That person with a B average may actually be a lot better clinician than the 4.0 student.

Noooo... only potatoes now.
