I just finished my first semester of university-college and I got an A+ in Chemistry( 4 credits), an A in Calculus(3 credits), an A in Sociology(3 credits), and a B in Biology(4 credits). So, this translates to a GPA of 7.86(my school uses the 10 point scale system). Does anyone know any formula of how I can translate my current GPA to the 4 point scale?

it's roughly 3.81.

When you open an application you get a different FAQs page than without an open application. The following explains GPA. I'm not really sure what determines the w/ vs w/o +-.
