I know most programs care most about research, but i was wondering what a typical GPA might be for an undergrad applying to:

Exercise Physiology
Agronomy (Crops sciences)

Would it be easier to get into an agricultural PhD program than a typical biomed science program??

The grad students I knew and applied with for exs phys way back when were all hovering in the 2.8-3.4 area. Your mileage may vary...

Very true--- I know for a fact though that many will overlook at sub 3.0 GPA, if other items are in order (high GRE, good letters, research, etc etc)

Shoot for a 3.4, then you wont have to worry about this kind of thing 👍
