I took two community college courses over the summer which are worth 3 units each in a semester system. During the regular school year, I attend a four year university (UCI) which goes by a quarter system. When the units transferred to my school, I recived 1.5 times the unit of each course giving me a total of 9 units from the transition from semester to quarter system units. My question is that when calculating my final gpa for dental school, how much is the course worth? would it be worth 3 units each or 4.5 units each?

Also, would certain class which are science based count as part of science gpa even though the school I attend categorize it as an elective? For example, a chemistry prep course.

Thanks in advance!
