So my sGPA is a 3.74 and my overall cumulative is a 3.68. I know that's low. Am I doomed? I was a Econ undergrad major and had a 3.67 gpa (I took some math classes like Calc 1-3 during undergrad and had a 3.75gpa with that).. I did post bac and maintained a 3.7 in my pre-requisites.

I don't go to a strong strong school. I go to a state school part of the state university system.

Your thoughts?

i thought a 3.67 was the the average GPA of acceptances to med schools. so what does that tell ya?

3.65 is seemingly the national's average for quite some time.
Visualize a bell curve, and you are to understand that a significant amount of acceptees had a GPA < 3.65.

You might as well start work at McDonalds

Someone with that high of a GPA can not be that dense that they think they're "Doomed"

Starting to see why people hate gunners/trolls here.

It gets frustrating, I know.

I am just pissed about a grade I got. I know I am being dramatic, but it's depressing. Seeing the hate I breed gives me energy though. Thanks man 👍

I'm pretty sure you need at least a 3.99 to even step foot inside a medical school building.

I am pretty sure you need a 3.995 to even *think* about medical school.

( I see you, <3.995. I see you thinking about *it.* Knock it off.) :ninja:

Not only do you reply to quotes incorrectly (REPLY UNDER THE QUOTE NOT OVER IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! ) but you post this nonsense? gtfo 😡

what his post really said was "plz boost my ego because i have no friends to talk to due to my constant gunning"

So your trend is 3.67 -> 3.68? That's not terrible. If you managed to get it up by a 0.01 in two years, you should be able to get it up to 4.00 in 64 more years. And then you won't have anything to worry about. 😉

You won't get into medical school with that GPA. I can say that with confidence.

:slap:

 reassuring logic.
