I'm a first year student at McMaster University. In my first term, I (unwisely) did not put much effort into my studying (for one course especially) and as a result my scores were as follows: 3.9, 3.9, 3.7, 2.0.
If I understand correctly, the 2.0 drops my average term one GPA to ~3.3?
Also, after reading the OMSAS GPA chart, is it correct that with an 84% the GPA at McMaster is 3.7, but with 85% it becomes 3.9? Where is the 3.8?
I'd appreciate any help. 🙂
