GPA Question

I know NYU has a GPA cutoff of 3.1, I was just wondering about the calculation of that GPA. I repeated 2 courses over the summer at a different institution. I sent in both transcripts. Are the grades averaged together for the cum GPA? Hopefully.... 😕

And actually, is it possible for me to send in my transcripts for this Fall 2007-2008 semester at the end of December and have them include that too? I know it would delay the process. I don't know...
