Do the math yourself, If you cant, then you should not pursue dentistry as a career.

That's the whole idea behind a forum...to ask for help. Maybe this person doesn't know how GPA is calculated for dental school, or something.
How about we turn this around on you: if you're not kind enough to help someone out as a pre-dent, then you'll probably just be as big of an a**hole as a dentist.
Shrug. OP is listed as pre-med. So he can't be bothered to do a little bit of grade school level math, isn't in the right forum, AND is a Lakers fan... how many strikes does one need? 😛
I don't know how I didn't see that before. In that case, here is how AADSAS calculates your grades:
A+=4.33
A=3.5
A-=3.0
B+=2.0
B=1.80
B-=1.60
C+=1.40
C=1.20
C-=1.00
D=0.80
F=0.0
So, don't get below an A+ or you're screwed in dentistry. Might as well stick with medicine.
How many schools give A+'s, ive never even heard of that.
My school you cant get above a 4.0
Edit:
And A is a 4.0
I believe A- is 3.67
B+ is 3.33
B is 3.0
B- is 2.67
etc
That is totally necessary, practicing dentistry requires maturity and common sense. It's clear OP is lazy and ignorant, it's important to make it clear to these people that they need to do their own work! I wouldn't want a dentist who lacks common sense, would you?
This is correct, with the addition that A+'s are indeed worth 4.33. Which I agree is dumb, because my school also will not put higher than an A on a transcript. I've earned several A+'s, but d-schools will never know. It really does seem awfully unfair, but that's life. Honestly, if you're the kind of student who gets enough A+'s to make a difference, chances are that your GPA is high enough that it really doesn't matter. At least that's what I tell myself!
