As a Canadian who is planning to apply to some Canadian med schools, some schools do not factor in summer grades into the GPA (although they do accept the credit). Reason being that summer courses aren't always on par with courses offered during the regular semester.
Being Canadian doesn't mean you can't read the instructions manual or search the internet though..
