I know I have posted several times about various topics in the past few days but I just wanted to clear up a few things so sorry if I have been annoying. I used the GPA calculator and trend tool provided by a post here on SDN to calculate my GPA.
My cumulative BCPM gpa after 4 years is 3.72. My first year I took 62 hours of bcpm classes and got a 3.66. My second year I took 74 hours of bcpm classes and got a 3.55. My third year I took 60 hours of bcpm and got a 3.83. My fourth year I took 20 hours of bcpm classes and got a 4.00.
I am applying for some mid tier schools and my MCAT score was 514 which while a good score is a little lower than the median at some places. Thus, I was banking on my GPA to help me out a little bit. However, I noticed that while 3.72 is good, the dip could be a concern. Do you guys think that this is an issue?
