GPA verification

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Weird. I submitted on the 19th, transcripts were received on the 24th and I was verified on the 2nd.

Then they either 1)gave me the wrong info or 2) they spent a couple days on ppl that submitted then.

I submitted on 6/19 and still have not received GPA verification. They told me (on 7/1) that my transcript sent in on 6/7 did not have my degree confered, but ensured me that it would not hold up the process.

Just today I received an email stating my GPA has been verified. I submitted June 25th so it went very quickly 😀
They said please allow two weeks for mailing. Time to start looking at secondaries and app fees!

Thanks for sharing!

I think I was just misinformed. It seems most people have been getting verified in about 10 days.

So people that graduated in May and sent their transcripts in early June..

Are you guys running into my problem, where they put everything on hold saying that the transcript is marked invalid because it doesn't have a confered degree?

My school apparently didn't confer degrees until 6/20, so I had to resubmit my transcript and wait and wait and wait...

Many schools confer degrees on the day of graduation. But honestly I don't see why that should hold you up unless you claimed you already graduated on your application. There are people that apply their junior year who obviously do not have degrees. Some people apply even though they plan on completing an extra course in the fall, etc.

I claimed I already graduated, because I did. I was totally unaware that my school confered degree status so late, and am now paying for it.

I submitted on the 20th, verified on the 26th. But LORs are still not on there even after 3 weeks ):

Were they submitted 3 weeks ago? This isn't normal. I would have called at the two week mark! 🙂
