My transcript was received on the 22nd and still no sign of GPA verification--kinda annoying because I only have one transcript and it seems like everyone on here is seeing a four-day business day result.

Anyone else in the same boat?

Also--what is really considered early? I had already e-submitted well before my transcript was received (UNC took FOREVER to send it out) so if I make the third mailing batch that is still early, right? People are fah-reakin' out about the first/second dates...

I am definitely in the same boat. My transcript was received the 23rd and still no sign of GPA verification.

I have everything else in (DAT scores and Letter of Recommendations) - just waiting on my GPA.

I feel like the waiting process is the most frustrating!

You have NO IDEA. They got my transcript on 6/13 and I'm still not verified. I've called a few times and they just tell me that I need to wait...even though people have been verified when their transcript came in after mine. I'm so frustrated and just want an answer.
 
All of my documents are ready to go, except my LOR from a dentist (I'm going to call him tommorrow). Transcripts rcvd 6/22/11. I am soo anxious for my application to be mailed. Do you think people are freaking out about 1st and 2nd batches? I hope schools consider anything June to July early! :xf:
 
I sincerely believe that the first four/five mailing cycles are early--though I see that people are already getting interviews?!

Anyway--GPA was verified today at around noon! Just waiting for the mailing date now!

my last transcript was received on 6/23, and no verification as of today. But I don't have any of my LOE's in, and I won't take the DAT until 7/28th , I guess it's pointless to send my app in anyways. this application process is very frustrating.

i would keep calling them and asking why ur behind ppl that sent in their transcripts after you ...i had to bug the **** out of them to get my gpa verification expedited to atleast make the second batch since my last transcript was sent in 6/3/11 and they couldnt find it for the longest time...be assertive ...u paid $$$
 
My LOR was in by 6/9, DAT scores in the earliest at 6/23, and now this crap....missing the first batches! It sucks...
 
My transcripts have been in since the 15th, I e-submitted on the 22nd... Still no gpa verification 🙁
 
I FINALLY got the GPA Verification email this morning! 🙂 I went kind of crazy on the phone yesterday. Don't know if that helped or if they just finally got to me. No mailing date posted, though, but baby steps.
 
So correct me if I'm wrong, the mailing dates are monthly? Why would they do that- doesn't it slow down application processing?
 
I feel like the later they receive the application, the longer it will take to verify the GPA because of the increasing amount of applicants that they have to also tend to.
 
I just made a new thread about this without seeing this one. Same exact boat, except I applied on 6/2 and requested transcripts on 6/1. They received my last one on 6/23 and still nothing. Just called in and they told me to wait 6 weeks.. haha are you kidding? Do they not understand how much we have invested in this? Transcripts are mailed out weekly and the clueless person who helped me has no idea how many batches have been mailed out yet. I think theres been 2 batches thus far though.

Does screaming and yelling on the phone actually expedite GPA verification process?
 
Who knows how to expedite this process. It seems like it is ANOTHER crapshoot part of the application. Just one of the intangibles.
 
No mailing date here yet...I think it is weekly though, correct me if I'm wrong.

My GPA has finally been verified. Maybe its because I called AADSAS yesterday to inquire about my GPA verification status. Of course they told me that I would "just have to wait," but seems like calling does the trick! 🙂

Now all I need is a mailing date! Hopefully 3rd or 4th batch! 🙂 😀

When was your last transcript received btw?
 
Pretty on topic, didn't want to start a new thread for this little event.

So, I had two transcripts, both from University of Maryland, however one was from their "Asia" division. Apparently they sent my transcripts all under just the University of Maryland, no separate one for Asia... I called AADSAS, which is how I gleaned this info, to make sure I was fine for the transcripts (since one wasn't showing up). I called again yesterday because GPA still wasn't calculated, apparently they were "waiting" for that Asia transcript, despite telling me weeks ago that all my transcripts were in! Now they un-e-submitted me, and had me deleted all my course work from Asia and combine it with the regular one... when I went to delete the entire college (they told me to), it bugged (internal error). Now they're telling me they can't delete it either and to call back in 2 days! WTF! 😡

Anyway, wanted to vent that. And also pretty pissed that this whole thing will probably delay my application mailing for another week or more too. Money well spent!

ask them waiting what will happen in those two days ur waiting...what are they planning on doing for those two days? are they going to fix this? just make sure u dont wait for two more days n then ur still at the same place u are today

you have to talk to the manager...hes the only one that can expedite the process for u...thats basically who i spoke with...my last transcript was signed for on 6/7 and they misplaced it...so i gave them a piece of my mind and told them how horribly they were treating applicants like myself...he told me he would expedite the process...once that was done i made the second batch...im going to say this again..call them n bug them enough n ur gpa verification will be done (i think i called them everyday and aletha (one of the aadsas rep) finally recognized my voice enough to remember my name
 
Mailing Date: July 11! Looks like my application is being sent out on Monday, wahoo!

Called back today, apparently they did nothing but put a note on my application saying they had all my necessary transcripts. The person I spoke to today was pretty out of it, took a while to explain the problem. I ended up having to add a semester for the school I was supposed to delete, then re-e-submit. Now I'm supposed go back to waiting, ignore the missing transcript (because of their note), my GPA will be calculated or else they'll contact me if there are any other problems.

Sigh.
 
Man, I feel like a thread hijacker. Anyway!

Called again today because I didn't like how things turned out last week. The guy I spoke to actually seemed well informed and knowledgeable (a surprise to be sure) about everything in the application process.

He told me that even with the "note" on my app saying they had everything, the computers wouldn't forward/allow access to the GPA people because of the "missing" transcript. So now I'm un-e-submitted again while their support people "look through the code" to fix everything. Of great relief was that the guy told me that once they fix it, he will personally ensure I get my GPA calculated immediately. :xf:😀

I hope this is the end to the saga of application craziness.
 
Transcripts were received 6/27. GPA finally verified today, 7/12!
 
My transcripts were received on the 27th. I got an email today (7/12/2011) saying that there was an error in my course info (which there was due to a misunderstanding on my part) so I just fixed it, and just resubmitted my application... I wonder how much this is going to delay my GPA verification and mailing date? 🙁 🙁
 
GPA finally verified today, 7/12! Everything had been in since 6/23...longest wait ever!
 
Same here..they said it takes two weeks to mail it out? when you think schools will recieve them and verify them?
 
Wohoo! GPA verified! I just have no clue how to interpret it lol. Do I look at the GPA "Inc +/-" or "W/O +/-"? Also do I look at GPA or GPA W/O? I just want to know which number is my BCP, sGPA, and Overall GPA...

If you guys want, I can just post up a screen capture instead haha

To be back on topic though, my transcripts were received on June 27th, and they were posted today July 12th! 👍
 
anyone with final transcripts in ~July 1st with their gpa verified yet?
 
On June 28, my 4th and final transcript was posted as received. GPA calculated today! 😀

Now for some mailings.......

Same as above. Last transcript received 6/28, GPA verified this morning.
