I've been a terrible student in the past. My current GPA (everything I've ever taken) is a 2.0. However, this includes courses I took back before I started considering Pharmacy.

I've failed and withdrew from many classes and then turned around to get an A.

I still have a lot of my classes left to take. (Biology, Chem II, Organ Chem I and II, Physics)

However, I could ace all these and my GPA is not going to get me over a 3.0.

I'm currently a lead tech in a Pharmacy. I train other technicians for other stores as well. I've been a technician for 5 years this fall and lead tech for 2. I'm getting LOR from my District Pharmacy Supervisor along with another pharmacist.

I just feel like I'm going to be laughed at when my application hits admissions. I haven't taken my PCAT yet. That's coming this September. I don't have a great reason why I did poorly. I was a bad student, but now I'm committed to turning things around. I'm just scared that I'm too late.

You must make sure you absolutely DESTROY the PCAT. Also, it s ok if you did bad in the past as long as you have and maintained a strong upward trend. Apply to some schools that are in pre and candidate status just in case.

No one is going to laugh at you. Just move forward, do your best, and be positive that things will work out.

Best of luck!

How many years were you in school? When was the last time you took a class? What were your grades like for your last year or so?

PCAT score? What were your extracurricular activities like? Finally, what is your gender and ethnicity?

I don't think you should worry about your past. Just tell them "Hey, I was young and I messed up but I trying to be better everyday." A lot of schools require you to calculate GPA for the last 40-50 semester credits, and of course they do it for reason. So, focus on the courses that you need to take and ace them. Write a sensational personal statement. You should be good !
