I went back to the same school to obtain a second degree and take the science courses (will graduate again end of 2013), but my first degree's GPA (finance) seems to be effecting my overall GPA. My cumulative GPA is rather low because of my poor performance in my first degree. Is there anything I can do to clarify this to schools?

I don't really know how to respond to this thread though, isn't this just the definition of an upward trend? The adcoms will see this and look upon it in a good light. Nothing to worry about really
