Hi,

I'm a 5th year senior.

I've got a sporadic makeup of a GPA...my science is 3.5 and cum is 3.57, but I have gotten some really good grades (a slew of A's and A-'s) and some bad grades (yep...C+'s in orgo and genetics, C- in some cell bio course, 2-3 W's in non-science courses) all over the place, early on in college and late.

However, recently, for 2 semesters (the 5th year), my GPA has been a 3.87 and hopefully, after my final semester's grades, it will be about a 3.62 or so cum, with a 3.55 science.

Do you think these last 2 semester's (my 5th year) of hardcore upper level science courses would make-up for my other grades? Considering that my GPA is still pretty competitive even with sporadic grades for the 1st 4 years?

Some courses that I took these last 2 semester's were cell physiology (300-level), comparative animal physiology (341), systemic and integrative physiology (302), endocrinology (312), histology (200-level), molecular evolution(302), cells/tissues/development (252), another histology course (200-level), and a middle level genetics course.

Thanks...I know....all those classes were a kick in the ass, and I was quite sheltered...

I'd say your gpa is fine. The last 2 semesters will look good too.
