The UNLV School of Dental Medicine General Practice Residency (GPR) program has an unexpected residency opening for a qualified candidate who is able to begin
July 1, or shortly thereafter for the right candidate.
This is a unique opportunity that does not become available very often. Residents in our program gain exceptional clinical experience and perform an average of:
- 15-20 endodontic cases
- 10-20 implant placements (with some residents completing significantly more—our most recent graduate completed 45 implant placements!)
- 90+ extractions
- 30 IV moderate sedation cases (25 is mandatory for certificate)
Beyond these numbers, residents gain invaluable experience treating medically complex patients, performing hospital cases, providing in-office general anesthesia, and participating in advanced surgical and restorative procedures that are not commonly encountered in many residency programs.
