Hey guys is it possible to specialize in say ortho or another specialty after doing GPR?

Yes. If you can't get into a specialty program, you can always do a GPR first before reapplying.

Yes a lot of people who did not match into the specialty of their choice do a GPR and reapply.

Especially those who don't match into Ortho, since it's involved in phase 1 of the match and GPR is involved in phase 2.
